Best U.S. Military Parent Blog Nominations

Place your nomination for Best U.S. Military Parent Blog in the comments section below.

IMPORTANT:

Please read before entering your nomination.

  • only one nomination per blog is necessary per category.  Duplicate nominations may be deleted.
  • each nomination must include a web address and title.
  • nominations must be relevant to their respective category.
  • A link to the author’s bio demonstrating eligibility in their respective category is highly recommended.  If category eligibility cannot be easily confirmed, the blog may not considered.
  • spam and unrelated comments may be deleted.
  • a minimum of five different blogs must be nominated, in order for that category to go onto to the Voting phase.  This rule may be changed due to the lower number of blogs in some categories.
  • please make sure the comment you left appears in the comments. Don’t assume.

All nominees will be considered, so please do your best to read through the list of nominees to ensure you are not nominating the same blog.

Tip: For suggestions on relevant blogs, refer to the U.S. Military Parent Blog Category on Milblogging.com.  While Milblogging.com does list military blogs in this category, it is not an exhaustive list.

I wholeheartedly support and agree with the nomination of this blog. The author has gone above and beyond the call of duty in her diligence and passion for this cause. I have left several comments on her blog over the last couple years and I don't feel anything I can say now can possibly be more appropriate than two of my previous comments which I shall copy here:

2011-07-20T23:01:25.192-05:00 "Thank you, Ms. Davin, for letting us into your life for all these months. And for sharing the highs and the lows with us in such heartfelt and expressive ways. You have brought your thoughts, wishes and hopes to us in a caring and compassionate manner. You have a very engaging writing style that brings the reader up close and personal. Your various awards and recognitions were certainly well deserved and best wishes in further endeavors if you choose to pursue them. Thank you for putting faces, names and emotions to the service these men and women are engaged in. And best wishes to your soldier as he begins the next step in his future, whatever it may be. And to you, as well, in your continued support of those who still serve and for the recognition given to those whom have paid the ultimate price for our country. American heroes have no better advocate and friend than you, Ms. Davin. I am sure all your readers join me in saluting your service to such a great cause. Thank you."
