Wife of a Wounded Marine: http://beingthewifeofawoundedmarine.blogspot.com/
A military wife is the hardest job in the military, but it doesn't get easier when the Marine is wounded, nor when struggles to re-integrate into "the world," but when his challenges end, hers did not.

    When Three becomes Two: http://whenthreebecomestwo.blogspot.com/

Chrissy is an amazing young woman who had the rest of her life all planned out for her and the love of her life Josh. God seems to have different plans for her. She is a true inspiration. She has continued to support Josh's "brothers" through care packages, and was there to greet them when they returned from their tour in Afghanistan. No one deserves it more,

  86. Toby Nunn says:

I would like to nominate http://amykemter.blogspot.com/

  87. Sara P says:

I would like to nominate Uncle Sam's MIstress at Living With PTSD and TBI (www.armyreservistwife.blogspot.com). Not only does she give spouses the real life scenarios, but she is teaching spouses as she learns how to deal with our returning Veterans and issues with PTSD and TBI. I think she is a pioneer with advocating what is really going on with our soldiers when they come home and also provides resources. I know there are many on here who are wonderful at blogging, but PTSD is becoming a serious issue with our returning soldiers. USM not only makes you smile, cry, laugh but you can actually feel her story and imagine what she is going through. Most importantly, she saved my life. My husband took what he thought was a loaded weapon and aimed for me during a flashback. I remembered what USM wrote and her advice, removed all the bullets without his knowledge and it saved my life. I know there are a ton of blogs out there, but someone needs to take a look at what this woman is doing for others. She is taking the negative and really turning it into something to help others.

  88. SSGT Daniel says:

I want to nominate Living With PTSD and TBI at http://www.armyreservistspouse.blogspot.com and someone beat me to it. She is wonderful as the last person said. She took the time to talk with me and get me to understand what my spouse is going through. She is a very grounded person with real life situations. None of this crap they are serving us at the VA. I learned more talking with her and what their family is going through than I ever did at the VA. I agree with the lady above that nominated USM. She is definitely a whip cracker and is taking something that is happening to all of us coming home and spinning it into something to help others. Sure there are a few spouse blogs, but are the blogs helping others?

  89. Jennifer says:

I nominate http://chrissy-letterstoyou.blogspot.com. I nominate this because Chrissy really opens up her world to everyone during the worst time of her life, the tragic loss of the love of her life,Josh, while fighting for our freedom over in Afghanistan. Chrissy shows true emotions and incredible strength to prove that life does continue to go on even through the hurt. This blog is an inspiration to everyone and I believe a great blog for other widows to relate to.

I want to nominate my wife.. .www.forgetthedognotthebaby.blogspot.com. She is the greatest wife anyone could ask for, dealing with a husband who is in the Military is hard enough, to deal with TBI, and PTSD after that is even harder. The bones of the thoughts of a woman whose been through so much. So much emotion and such an inspiring story. Shows how the world can really be put up against someone, yet they still move on. Never forgetting what they've lost.
